I lost my original copy (lent it out) so I had to get a replacement. I'm very happy I could still get a copy! The recipes in here are wonderful. A few needed adjusted ingredient amounts, as happens with many cookbooks, but the overall collection of recipes are priceless.

I just loveeeee Comander’s Palace and New Orleans in general. I as so happy to have all their recipes. I fine the recipes easy to follow and delicious to make. I have a goal of making every recipe. The book is worth it for the “read” only.

I love Commander's Palace. I live only 2 hrs away from NOLA and go there several times a year, always stop for a meal at Commander's. I also love cooking and am not intimidated by sophisticated recipes. Was very excited to find this book used but in great condition for less than $5! Have made several recipes out of it - Grits&grillads (excellent), Creole mayo (the favorite in the house now, have made at least 5 times), Worcestershire sauce, the mock turtle soup to name a few -- every single dish was a great success! This is definitely my to go to cookbook for special meals!

On my last visit to New Orleans, I had the pleasure of eating at the Commanders Palace and loved the food especially the bread pudding souffle. When I saw this book on Amazon I had to have it. It has all the recipes that I wanted. I have already tried several and they are as wonderful as what I had in the restaurant. An amazing find

This signed first edition is in immaculate condition. It arrived well packaged and earlier than expected. Kudos to the vendor!If you've ever eaten in New Orleans, this cookbook will just call out to you to prepare dishes -- Creole Bread Pudding, Shrimp, and so much more. This is a premier go-to book for the incredible food served at Commander's. Heck, just wandering through the pages is a luscious experience...So much so that you'll want to run out to the grocery store and start cooking.

This was a gift for my daughter, who is friends with a member of the chef's family. She is very happy with the book.

Not only are the recipes in this book fabulous, but the pictures & stories are such a good read!! I bought it for the Strawberry Shortcake recipe--- it was as amazingly delicious as the one I had at the restaurant!
